That's not crazy, that's Scooter :)
Long read for a description, but he started with a RRC, shortened it and made it look like a III/90.
Got a 727 instead of the ZF autobox .... good thing he's not closer ;)

it cant be a 90" wheel base with an 88 rear tub on it. It has to have the series wheel base of 88 " then. I like it. very cool. to change a seriaes to the 92+ wheel base you have to use a 90 rear tub that is longer..

Lets see if I can attach a better side view of the truck when it was "pretty" as described by Scott...
Nope, looks like I need to learn how to "re-size" but I can send it to you if you want one.....sure looks like the w/b is longer than the 88 tub would like.
Hah! That's how you're supposed to attach pics :) Slow learner here!

I think he had that advertised on LRX a long time ago - it was all one color then. I sent him an e-mail and he sent me a CD worth of of pictures of the build process. Pretty cool.

How did this truck go from having a nice paint job to looking like an old patchwork quilt?

after lookin at that side pic, it does have the d-90 wheel base under an 88 body. see how the rear wheels dont line up with the wells.. should have just got a 90 rear tub and did it right.

I'm Probably going to Go with a RR classic.. The idea is that we rarely use the F350 any longer except to haul tubing for product.. Well tubing doesn't fit in a Disco so it was either a 110 PU or a chopped RR. Since RT manages to just barely pay for itself (read "I'm not gonna be Bill Gates) I'm thinking RR But this Hybrid would be cool to stick a PU cab and Flatbed on lenghtening the frame of course..
In my spare time..

:( Scooter has long been a colorful fixture on the LRO list. I hope he gets the chance to build another one when things straighten out for him.
