Condition:
As you guys know this truck was used off road and it has some scars but nothing major. It had rear damage on the quarter panel but the diamond plating is covering that.
I have all keys, books, records, and even the sale catalog in 95. Tires has more than 85% tread and they are sipped. Interior is in very good condition with no rips or anything. Wind shield in perfect. Everything is working perfect and just passed emission with no problem. The body was trimmed to make the 37’s fit, and so the fender flares. I’m known of keeping my cars clean all the time, and after every off road trip I wash it and have it detailed. Oil changes always on time.

Reason for selling is I just became a single father and I don’t want to take my kids to a hard core trials as I’m very protective with them.

$33500. I will also trade for a 97 SW or ST

Yousef,

From one single father to another, good luck to you. I hope your vehicle sells and you get another 90 that serves your new purpose well.

Man I sincerly hate to see you have to sell your truck. Good luck. Are you going to get another Defender?

I either get another one and leave it stock (yeah right) or start on the 110 project asap and get it done in few months.
I really don't have to sell the D90 but if it sells then thats fine and if it doesn't then I'll keep it.

I guess your cage is off limits then huh. That sucks but the Kids come first. You put a lot of work into it. That has to break your heart putting it up f/s... Maybe the new year will bring you a new rover toy to play with?? 110 with 44"SSR's and full exo cage for the kids.... Nice....

I saw Yousef's D-90 yesterday, it is a on of a kind. If you consider the $afari Gard 90 that was for sale on Auto Trader for $60k, this one is quite a bargain, and probably more capable.

Sorry Yousef, I don't have 33.5 sitting around, but If I did I would have it sitting in my garage tomorrow.

You and C.V.C should get together and make a deal for his Disco.

I'm going have it for sale for about 3-4 weeks and if it doesn't sell and you are still interested in the cage when can do the deal.

Yes it is breaking my heart in fact I only had two hours of sleep last night thinking if I'm doing the right think, but I always see it that way, everything happens for a reason!

You think we can fit 44's under a rover :grin

Thanks Mike :)

BTW I can finance it if you want to :grin j/k

It was nice meeting in person, and your kids are always welcome to come over and play with my kids :)

CVC has a very nice Disco to bad it's not DII other wise I would try to work a deal with him.

hehe.. Funny, we started with a D2 and were thinking of setting it up as our 2nd trail truck but it was way too pretty for wheeling and we luckily sold it while prices were still good on them.

Would you take a Subie outback VDC wagon '03 for even trade? :grin

Man, Yousef. I say start the 110 project. Get some help with it to speed up the process. RN has 110 chassis for cheap ($1600). You should jump all over it....

You asking me about the Subaru? If so, hell.. shoot me the specs on it and let me think about it. Around here, I could sell a Subaru faster than the Disco.

Sorry CVC, I was asking Yousef:grin

I've already had my long ago fun with the Disco (DII actually). I liked it for what it was, but wouldn't buy one again. I wouldn't hesitate for another D90 though... ;)

Hmmm sounds like a fun wagon but I already have two SUV's and a sport car sitting in my garage beside the D90.

DII's are pretty but a hell of truck when you wheel it. My DII with 18" wheels was able to spank a stock D90 and a 127" wheel base ranger with rear limited slip.

I agree with you Dave, I will never hesitate to own two or more Defenders, they are just fun trucks and reliable.

Yousef-

Let me try to be the voice of reason here. For crying out loud, Troy has fallen off the deep end...now you! In all seriousness I hate to see you sell the rig, you are definately one of the most fun guys to wheel with even if you do have to winch over every obstacle.;) Troy just had a girl, we are having a boy in May...all we need to do is recruit a babysitter while we are on the trails and you are back in business. Last year at Las Cruces there were several young kids, none riding on the hard stuff and there was always someone to watch them. Heck, since Troy doesn't have a rig right now he could do it, right T!:grin

Rig or no rig I hope to see you in NM in Feb, at least come and ride if you can!

well, JT, I was actually thinking YOU could watch them and Yousef & I would take YOUR rig up the last waterfall on Patzcuaro's..:grin

Tis man, you are a mean person :)

Anyway, only time will tell if I sell it or not.

Troy, I haven't got the form yet...

tbmcneill
January 2nd, 2004, 11:21 PM
then that thing is lost in the mail. you should've gotten it by now. shoot webmaster@swfwda.org an email & they can give you the number of who to call to get one. they don't have one on their site. ... or check on pirate; someone is bound to have one there.

JT, you got an extra CC'04 form? anyone? if so, fax it to me at 303-938-9297 & i'll get it to yousef.
