lights out on auto transmission assembly

the lights are out on the shifter in my 97... i can get the trim plate off but not sure how to get to the bulbs on each side of the T handle...

also... the bulb for my tach is out... is there an easy way to get to it??

Might as well replace with LEDs

Hope you have skinny arms. Remove the six screws to the tray under the arm rest, then reach down and pull the bulbs. Reverse to replace....

Instrument cluster is super easy to pull. Two screws on the side and two on the bottom.

the screws under the armrest, do you mean inside the bin? i dont see a way to get to the bulbs under the trim plate from behind..

Yes, open the arm rest, remove the tray, reach down the side of the radio. Easy to access, just need long, skinny arms.
