I've got an interesting project in the shop right now. I'm converting a 1994 NAS D90 into a D110 Hi-Cap pickup. I'm stretching the stock frame. Rear body section is from RDS.
The axles will be a Ford 9" rear with a true hi9 3rd member.
Front is using Toyota inners also with hi-pinion. Axle shafts and CV's from Rover Tracks.
Suspension will be custom linked front and rear. Plus lots more fabrication along the way.
The owners use is mixed, rockcrawler with lots of street miles. D90 currently has around 170k miles. His use I think is what most of us are looking for when building a rig. Be able to conquer some of the most hardcore trails yet still be able to drive home be that right down the street or accross the continent.
