Hey Guys -

Do you know what type of service is performed at 60K?

Thanks in advance-

Here you go:

LR service schedule (http://www.robisonservice.com/servicedep/rover_advice2.asp)

From the D90 source (http://www.d-90.com/faq/60kservice/main.html)

There is a strong possibility that I will be picking up a 95 d90 this coming week, and I have a quick question. The vehicle has mileage in the mid 50000 range, and I will probably get the 60k service done as soon as I aquire the vehicle.

I was wondering what the typical cost of this service is, and also what all is recommended to have done at this interval.

Thanks for any advice you can provide. I am new the Land Rover world, so am really just getting my feet wet:)

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I searched before I posted the topic, but I only searched "60k service" which is probably why that topic titled "60,000 mile service" didn't come up:)

Just had it done - it was 680 dollars at LR dealer. They changed all the lube and fluids, checked some rubber parts etc. I had them do it simply for convenience, its all pretty easy stuff.

How much should a dealer charge for doing the 60K service on a 97 D90?

Also, does anyone have a reference on the checklist of all the service items to do on that?

Thanks!

Wicks,

The check list in is your owners manual. Let me know if you need it. I noticed a price of $1,645 at the dealer last time I was in. It included a few extras, such as decarbonizing the throttlebody and other dealer extras. You can save a lot of money doing it yourself.

It's funny but the on-line checklists here and the manual seem to be incomplete. I am pretty sure you're supposed to change the cooling hoses, the serpentine belt, and renew obscure fluids like the steering pump and so forth, but none of the lists show these items...

I don't know. The dealership did my 60K services. David wrote that article and I would be surprised if he would have left stuff like that out considering that this is a common repeat topic on a few forums every now and then. Give a dealership a ring and see what they list on they 60K service and let us know.

OK, it is something referred to as a Dealer Service Interval Checklist, and dealers have them for all years, all models.

Who has access to dealer paperwork?? ;)
