Hello everybody! I've just spent the first day with my new 95 D90 here in Steamboat Colorado. Fantastic vehicle. Prior to today the closest I ever got to one was while pumping gas in my 92 Wrangler next to a D90 at the opposite pump. "Someday" I said. Prior to today I had never sat driven nor touched one and now I'm a super happy owner. I don't think there are too many cars that can evoke that kind of leap-of-faith. The vehicle is super clean with only 53k miles and a few nice extras. This board has been invaluable in helping me make a decision. I've been reading these posts everyday for the past few weeks and the generosity of this community is amazing. It really helped me overcome my biggest objection which was "can I get this thing fixed up here in Steamboat?" I look forward to participating where I can on these boards. BTW, in the spirit of figuring things out, I made a newbie mistake by thinking that a persistent rattle in the right rear was something in my right-rear suspension coming apart when it turns out after researching here that it’s the spare tire. I fixed it with 3 14" strips of bicycle tire wrapped around the carrier studs - no more rattle!
If anyone out there is in this area let me know. Apparently this D90 spent almost its whole life in Aspen so it’s still pretty close to home. Thanks again for all the info!
