Winch wiring question

I am getting a Rockware bummper and am going to mount my XD9000i to it. My question. Is there a place under the hood that I can run the power cables from the winch to? Or do I need to get extention cables to run it to the battery?

I finished up getting longer cables from a welding shop to hook up my XD9000i.

I did see a writeup somewhere using a switch of some sort so the winch was not always wired up. In this case the switch was in the engine compartment, probably using the stock winch power leads, and extensions went the rest of the way to the battery compartment.

My ARB came with extended cables for the Warn I already had. Ran them under the rad up into the bay just under the power steering fluid reservoir, around back of the drivers side shock turret cover and then down along the frame to the rubber grommet into the battery box. Tied it all down with zip ties.
