I have a set of gently used SafariGard rock sliders for sale. There are some scratches in the powder coating, but no distortion to the tubes. These units aren't set up as air tanks. $250 O.B.O.
Pictures on request. Email me at serieslr@gmail.com.
TIA,
Cirbo

Can I ask your reason for selling them? I've heard both good and bad things about them. I thought of getting a set for my 90.

Can I ask your reason for getting a set for your 90? I saw where you won a free Rovers North coffee mug, so what more could you possibly need?

Hi Javier,
I build myself a stronger replacement set out of DOM tube which incorporate a step.

Jim, those rock sliders you built look nice. Would you mind posting a couple more images of them from different angles?

Surely... Sorry about the poor english above. I'm a product of the public school system.
Follow-up Post:
They take a full stick of 1.75"x.120 DOM, some misc. tabs, angle stock, flat stock and about 12 hours to build. (a little longer if they are TIG'ed)

Jim - cost estimate on the home made rock sliders - they're awesome!

Michael,
Thanks for the kind words. As shocking as it may sound, I can't actually build them for less than $500 per set (unfinished). Powder coating is another $75 over that....

Micheal,
Those do look very nice. I asked because I was interested to know how you felt about them. I mean, would they hold up as good as Rockware's, or better? Do you know the difference in their designs, anyone? I bought some tires from a guys here on d-90, he had also made his own. But he had some specific reasons he didn't like the SG sliders.
If the guy is reading this, can you shoot me an email? We met off the 405 fwy, Burbank Blvd. exit. You were telling me about one of your cases. You had an Arles Blue D90.
