I sold a pair of folding side steps to Paul B and I promised the "hardware" in the deal. I always tape my hardware to my stuff if I remove it but there is no hardware on the steps. I took them out last night to check it against the truck and it looks like the steps use existing hardware from the sills and frame. I checked the RN catalog and they show no hardware for the steps. I tried to call RN this morning and they were closed. Does anyone out there know whether the steps need hardware or use existing bolts from the frame and sills. Thanks in advance,
Sean

Sean,
I took off my side steps a couple of months ago and I think the bolt that attaches the step to the frame is an existing bolt. The others come with the step. How much did you sell them for?

Does the other set of bolts attach to the thin frame rail behind the sills or does it use the sill bolts themselves? I sold them for $75.00.

Sean,
is this the type of step?
and does it need this second piece??
Looking under the sills I do not see how they attached or what the second thing does (see next post photo)
