NAS refers to North American Specs. In laymans terms, US version Defenders.

North American Specification or as I tell my wife Newman And Son, She is polish and beleived for a short time some some long distance relatives were the importers of the Defender.

I am going to hell, this may not be the reason I am going there but it will get me a pat on the back when I get there!
