Why don't you go to an exhaust shop? They have all kind of Borla tips and they can custom bend a pipe to make it look like Borla.

i cant get the Borla tip, I have tried and tried but they just wotn sell me one or the tail pipe. I dont think any exhuast shop would be able to make a tail section that would be like the Borla.

I am looking at the borla web-page.
under the universal products menu
they have a section for tailpipes. About
half-way down the page is the "Single Round Angle-Cut Intercooled Tip". This is the same one on the
Defender exhaust kit.

Hope this helps

You might try NRP.....they make a great system, and unlike the Borla I ordered first...they fit. P.S...that borla tip makes a kind of annoying noise anyway...at least to me and most of the guys I know....

why not just put your swim trunks on and dive into your pockets and buy the complete catback, rather then making your stock exhaust look like the borla exhaust.

THE NRP IS BETTER!!

I don't know to much about the NRP, nut I have heard that the welds don't last that long and after a few years they rust apart. That and everyone that hears my Borla loves the sound. In fact pepole pull up next to me at traffic lights and ask me what kind it is because they like it so much. And from what I have been told the Borla system does not hang as low as the NRP. What problems did you have with your Borla system, and what did you do with your old system because I am sure someone here would buy the hole thing or maybe just the tip?

I like the Borla. I am not trying to make my stock exhaust look like anything, I just like the Borla pipe. Currently trying to save my pennies nickels and dimes for a Fox Talas fork and some of the new Shimano XTR. priorities.

I sent it back and got my money back because it didn't fit. The end of the muffler that attaches to the y-pipe was about two sizes two small. Alan Elliot at Cityside Garage said they have the same problem all the time, and they recommend the NRP. BTW..you can get the Defender Borla at www.proficientperformance.com for less than any of the Landy suppliers about $509 bucks and they have free shipping.

I just installed the Borla system and couldn't be more pleased. Everything fit perfectly and I love the sound.

Maybe Borla makes 2 systems one for NAS and one for non NAS? I think the NRP is stainless exept the welds witch is what rusts apart.

I can't say it enough. These pre-packaged exaust systems for $500 plus are for suckers. Go to a good exaust shop, have a custom one made with the muffler of your choice for $200 AND SKREW THE TIP! :rolleyes

I kinda agree. My Previous vehical I did the same thing, and it worked great. When I bought my 90 it already had the Borla on it. Just make sure they leave plenty of room for the rear axel.

Say what you want David, but I am very happy with my system. And I don't consider myself a sucker. Maybe not as knowledgeable as some but not a sucker.

"Say what you want David, but I am very happy with my system. And I don't consider myself a sucker. Maybe not as knowledgeable as some but not a sucker."

I realised after I typed that it probably came across a little harsh. Sorry about that. People who buy the kit are not suckers. Depends on what your socio-economic standing is. But, if you buy for the performance gain and not for the bling then there are way better options than dropping the coin.

My socio standard is pretty high...my economic standard not so...still I bought the stainless pipe because they last much longer than the stock or muffler shop made parts.

The guys who work at Cityside Garage here in the Boston area (where everything rusts) tell me they haven't had any troubles with rusty welds on NRPs. I really wanted the Borla too...went against their advice and ordered it and was very disappointed when it didn't work. I shipped it back (but kept the cool Borla hat) and ordered the NRP...and I must confess...one of the main reasons I wanted the Borla is because that tip looks so damn cool.

Hey Scot, Are you a BSROA member? I was on the last 2 trips (last two weekends) and I don't remeber any yellow 90s.
