Can anyone recommend a shop to make me the modified speedometer cable that I need for the VDO electronic speedo?

Thanks,
Mark

You don't need one. You by the genuine electronic sender. It attaches to the transfer case.

See VDo Speedo Install (http://www.d-90.com/tech/speedometer_replacement.html)

From above:
"Run the two wires from the '97 OEM Land Rover sender mounted in the LT-230 transfer case (if installing in a '94 or '95, mount a '97 Land Rover sender (LR #AMR 1253) and replace the stock speedometer cable with the wires from the sender)"

John,

I posted a question about the electronic sender and a few people replied back that it does not work properly on a '94 since there is some info sent to the computer from the existing transducer and the result being the car just does not run right.

Everyone pointed to the FAQ section with the cable modification, and I felt that was the safest to do. Problem is I can not find a Speedo shop in my area.

Thanks,
Mark
