Planning on getting steel wheels for the Rover. Thinking of painting them Savarin White (Alpine) to match the color of the truck. I was wondering what type of paint is used in RN's LR touch up sprays.
Also what type of black paint is used on the LR steel wheels?. Would you use polyurethane, or epoxy type paint?.
Do the black OME steelies need primer and would you use etching primer or epoxy. Can poly be sprayed over epoxy type primers? etc etc.

Also are Land Rover colors available anywhere besides their touch up sprays?

Thanks for any help.

Not really sure, but i think steel wheels are powder coated.

My paint guy went to an auto paint store with the Alpine white paint code and they mixed him the paint on the spot. I will try to find out what type of paint he used for you. See my other post in the pimp my rover thread.
