I need help, and if you are confused as to where on your truck your pistol oiler is, it is not. It is in your garage, and if it is anything like mine, it has oil leaks all over my counters and mill. I use pistol oilers for my air tools, for cutting oil and the like and every one of them for the last 10 years leaked. Drives me F-N nuts. There has got to be someone out there that can tell me where to get a decent oiler that won't leak. I don't care if it is a straight solid nozzle or a bendable type--actually, I have a couple of each.

So help me, D-90, to PIMP MY GARAGE! Well, how about an oiler, at least!

Thanks!

I like to keep thing simple. Try one of these. Fill as needed and travel very well.

Those look good for small tasks, but I need a lot more flow for cutting oils. I may just pick up a trio of those as well.

Anyone have a good bigger one?

Any other suggestions?

Here's an idea for you Chris. I have bandsaws at work we use to cut steel. They all come with a cutting fluid pump system. There's a reservoir with a pump and a hose that travels to a nozzle where the cutting is done.
If you're interested I could scavenge one (we only cut dry). I don't know if your mill has a fluid collection system, but many do. It shouldn't be that hard to adapt.

Rod, thanks for the offer--I might take you up on that. I will give it some thought if I could actually use it--my mill is small and that sure could save some edges! Thanks.

Search in google for a product called MQL. Its sold in Europe now but can be had here. Stands for Minimum Quantity Liquid. It has the highest lubricity of any liquid substance on earth. One little spray of that is all you need. Then you can throw all your oil and mess away. I have seen this work and trust me, it rocks.
