So i recently bought a fiberglass hardtop and while moving it into my storage shed the right hand side alpine window popped out of its casing. has this happend to anyone before? i dont know what to do as i do not want to hurt that roof piece in any way shape or form.

Yep, happened to the Po of my 90. He told me all about it. Mostly the fact that it is a real PITA to get back in. He lubed it up with oil then pushed it in, then he put silicon around it to help keep it in. Good luck!

I used soapy water. I would avoid using oil since it would never dry and prevents silicone from adhering propperly. I used a blunted plastic edge to help push the moldings in on all my windows.

I think your right now you say it I think my PO may have used soapy water also.
