Yeah, I don't quite understand the logic behind their color-coding system. Half the gearbox is painted....huh?
It does look nice, though. I wonder if that fuel tank would mount on my truck...

It would, you would lose the seatbox storage under the passenger seat.

It just occured to me where that chassis has been. It was at the motor heritage museum with a polished D90 body hovering above it. Hmm I wonder what happend to the body, and if is avaliable as a package?

I think that ones still there, well it was in May. This must have been one of the old exhibits.
Would be a nice chassie to build up from but not sure if its worth the money they want.
Not sure about the yellow axels though :lol

I don't know about freight and customs cost, but i think it does worth the money...

I'm not certain you could bring it into the US. There's a chassis number affiliated with it which shows it as an '87- too young to import.
It's (relatively) easy to remove the body of a Defender- if it was simple to import just the frame/engine, then there'd be yobbos galore flying across the pond to remove the body of new Ds and then importing the body separately as "parts". Not easy to do!
