I was reading the spare tire carrier thread and got onto the Bearmach website. Man, they have some great stuff over there. I know a lot of people order stuff from overseas, but I am a little leary. Doesn't the shipping cost a fortune?
I have found a lot of things I "need" but haven't had the grapes to go ahead and order anything yet. Any advice or tips?

I've had pretty good luck getting Eric at Atlantic British to special order "stuff" for me - that way it just goes in one of their container shipments and its pretty painless.
A friend of mine orders stuff from England all of the time - he's got a friendly shipping expediter on the other side of the pond to handle all of the paperwork and he says the postage isn't too bad.

Just bought something from John Craddock in the UK from eBay. Shipping was quick. Good price too.

I have never had a problem. Paddock Spares is good along with a few others. Just ask for a quote before placing order.

I also ordered from Craddock and it was very fast and cheap. Also FYI for all, Atlantic British is the US distributor for Exmoor. Everything is pre-pay special order, but for all the items to redo a defender interior trim, the pricing from AB was the same as buying direct from Exmoor, so you save yourself the cost of intl shipping. AB's containers are the untold secret to saving I believe.

That is great to know. Thanks, you probably just saved me a lot of money!
