Venting Your Hood

Hood Holes 101
Supplies needed:
- Tape measure
- Drill
- 1/8 in pilot bit (or so)
- 2 inch hole saw
- marking pen
- masking tape
- round file
- courage
Procedure
1. Place masking tape on hood (enough to cover up the work you are going to do)
2. Measure from trailing edge of hood and mark at 4 3/8, 6 7/8, 9 3/8, and 11
7/8 inches
3. Measure from lower edge of hood 1 1/4 for all holes

(11 7/8, 1 1/4)
5. Marks should be 2 1/2 inches apart
6. Drill the pilot hole through the marks
7. Drill the holes with the 2 inch hole saw. Bit will grab on the aluminum, so
be careful
8. Touch up the edges with the round file
9. Remove masking tape
10. Stand back and admire
11. Do other side the same way
12. Relax and have a beer
