Eberspaecher Stationary Heater

by Beni Gelzer

My heater is a diesel-operated hot water system. They are usually installed in the engine compartment and integrated into the vehicle cooling circuit. Heat energy is taken from the vehicle heat exchanger and controlled volumes of warm air are blown into the cab through the existing air vents.
I am VERY happy with this product. Last winter was quite cold in Switzerland. While my neighbors had to scratch their iced windscreens, I programmed the heater 60 to start 60 minutes before I get out of the house... the windows were clean, the engine preheated (easy start) and the inside of the car at room temperature. Even in summer, I start the heater remote-controlled 15 minutes before departure... just to preheat the engine and to start the ventilation.
Eberspaecher heaters can be supplied with a digital timer, permitting the startup time to be pre-programmed, or a remote control system. Advantages of hot-water heaters:
- Dual-function - vehicle interior and engine preheating
- Distribution of warm air via the vehicle's own air vents
- Exceptional convenience
- Particularly suitable for luxury cars, also commercial vehicles.
Independent Vehicle Heaters Comfortable warmth from "the off"
Eberspächer stationary heaters operate independently of the engine. When you get in, the passenger compartment is already pleasantly warm, all the windows are defrosted and the engine is ready to start, so you can drive away in comfort, safe and sound, at cold times of the year.
- Warm car
- Easier engine starting
- Clear windows
- Health and safety
- Heat outputs from 850 to 30,000 watts.
Two proven systems, meeting all types of needs:
- Eberspächer hot-water heaters
- Eberspächer hot-air heaters
- Both types operate on petrol or diesel fuel from the vehicle's fuel tank
